Welcome to Woodrush Training Consortium                                                                    

Dear Colleague,

This is an exciting time to be working with the Woodrush Training Consortium. We have been a training consortium for over eight years and are continuing to grow and develop our consortium to support education in the West Midlands.

After the successes of our CPD events last year we have developed a calendar of high quality training. Woodrush offers a highly developed programme of professional development opportunities for both trainee teachers and existing teachers. Through both internal training and that linked to national providers Woodrush offer leadership programmes such as the new suite of NPQs.

We have been successful in recruiting Regional Hub (formerly School Direct) places for Primary and Secondary subjects through our partnership with Worcester University and Warwick University and are currently recruiting for the 2024-2025 places during the year. We would be delighted to work with more schools who can host trainees in the future, so please do get in touch.

As always, through our work, our core aim is to improve the education of our students and those in the local area. We would like to thank all the schools who continue to work with us and would like to invite other schools to join our consortium. Woodrush Training Consortium is able to offer, bespoke CPD, ITT places, training opportunities, leadership development, school to school support, research opportunities to name but a few.
